Could COVID-19 delay climate change? (part 2)

It is likely that global carbon emissions this year will see their steepest fall since the second world war. Sadly, this won't stop climate change.
It is predicted that we will see a fall in emissions between 4.2% and 7.5% on last year, while a rise of around 1% had been expected this year!
The planet saw a drop of 1,048 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in the first four months of 2020. The fall, however, is expected to be somewhere between 1,524 and 2,729 million tonnes this year.
This, however, will make little dent in future warming as even a 5% drop would be equivalent to 0.001℃ less warming.
